In the past, Pujiang River was famous for its crystal glass. During the peak period, more than 20,000 crystal glass enterprises scattered all over the land of Pujiang River. Sewage flowed everywhere in urban and rural areas, and solid waste was everywhere, causing serious damage to the ecology.
In order to revitalize the homeland, the county government organized and mobilized, and formed a water strategy-scientific water control, group water control, iron-fist water control, garbage classification, to achieve the beauty of water "butterfly to Pujiang"; in the implementation process, the staff affected the ecological balance The households that "understand the reason and move with emotion" carry out ideological work, and implement compulsory suspension of production and shut down 21520 crystal processing households that do not comply with or implement government instructions, demolition of 6.5 million square meters of illegal buildings, administrative detention of 394 people, criminal detention of 62 people, filing and investigating 795 cases of environmental violations; shut down 754 livestock and poultry farms, shut down 184 waste material processing households, shut down and merge printing and dyeing, papermaking, electroplating pollution 23, etc.
